Main Abilities

Use Frostbite as your main Q. It has very good range and a short cooldown, letting you constantly pressure the enemy. Reaching 3 Frostbite stacks also gives you a stun.

Use Frost Nova as your W. It gives you mobility while also stunning enemies near your starting position. The brief damage immunity during the teleport can also let you avoid important damage if timed correctly.

Your E is your main crowd control ability. It can completely freeze either you or the enemy before dealing heavy damage when the effect ends.

Use it offensively when the enemy has no mobility available, otherwise they may escape before the freeze activates. You can also use it defensively to avoid dangerous abilities.

Passive

The first passive is the safest general option.

Against ranged enemies, Aggressive Caster can also be useful if you want faster casting and more pressure.

Helmet

Use Hunter Hood when you expect the enemy to commit to heavy damage.

It increases your resistances while reflecting a large part of the incoming damage back at them.

Chest

Use Cultist Robe to recover Health and Energy during the fight.

Try to activate it after freezing the enemy or when you have created enough distance. Levitate can be interrupted, so pay attention to the enemy's available crowd control before using it.

Boots

Use any Plate Boots with the second spell for additional mobility and survivability.

Cape and Potion

Use Smuggler Cape with Tier 6 Healing Potions.

The shorter potion cooldown gives you more sustain during longer fights.

Food

Use Pork Omelette for faster casting and shorter cooldowns, which works especially well with Chillhowl's constant spell usage.
